Welcome to my inaugural post of my retro-gaming website.
Over the lifespan of this site, I hope to provide a comprehensive set of step-by-step how-to guides for installing and setting up various emulators under Ubuntu Linux, and now and then give reviews of old games I've come across and played.
The desire to have a central point like this arose from my own personal trials and frustrations at trying to get these environments working properly with useful software. The most crucial to all of this, surprisingly, isn't access to hardware emulators at all, but the various bits and pieces of software to drive them (for example, where does one get Mac System 7 now days?)
My first 2 offering will be Amiga and Mac Classic - keep an eye open for these!
